Endometriosis is a condition in which endometrial cells proliferate and are transplanted into tissues other than the uterus. These implants can grow on any part of the body such as the pelvis, oviduct, bladder, intestine and ovary. In rare cases, it can also proliferate in lung, thorax and axilla. These implants respond to hormonal changes and bleeding as well as normal menstruation which grows. But as they leave the uterus and grow on other parts of the body there is no exit for blood to exit the body so they are trapped inside the organization. This can cause serious pain, as blood is exhaled and forms cysts.

To treat this condition, physicians are usually prescribed in the form of synthetic hormones, estrogens, usually contraceptives. However, this approach does not necessarily produce desirable results for certain groups of women taking this type of medication. In some cases, there were reported cases of side effects by women using these synthetic hormones.

Therefore, to treat this health condition, herbal remedies also need to be considered. The reason is that these herbs are readily available in most health stores, inexpensive, and most importantly they do not cause side effects.
