Cancer is usually an uncontrolled growth of cells when normal cells persistently and genetically mutate for long periods. Failure to stop cell division and growth and failure of a part of the cell under programmed death. There are about 200 known types of cancers. Cancer causes include heredity. Tobacco smoke; radiation; ultraviolet radiation from the sun; food toxins; and environmental chemicals. Cancer occurs when these causes lead to an increase in oncogenes and a decrease in tumor suppressor genes, DNA repair genes, and self-destruction genes.

There are five main types of cancer: 1) carcinomas arising from the skin and inner layers of the organs and the body system [adenocarcinoma; basal cell carcinoma; squamous cell carcinoma; and transitional cell carcinoma] 2) Sarcoma develops in connective tissue [bone, cartilage, fat, muscle and blood vessels] 3) leukemia occurring in bone marrow 4) lymphoma and myeloma occurring in the immune system 5) tumors of the brain and spinal cord [glioma, astrocytoma].

Cancer staging, TNM format (tumor [T1-4 which increases increasing severity]; Node 0 - 3 indicating progressive migration. Metastasis [0 or 1]). This is also done as steps 1 to 4, again indicating that the severity gradually increases. Staging results in a universal consistency in cancer assessment and treatment and its understanding of its prognosis. Treatment of cancer includes various modes such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, hyperthermia, stem cell transplantation, photodynamic therapy and laser.

Although there are multiple advanced treatment options available, there are still many restrictions on cancer treatment, and recurrence is a major problem. Surgery can not physically remove all cancer cells. Chemotherapy only affects actively dividing cancer cells. Radiation therapy also fails to destroy all cancer cell DNA. Repetitive mutations in cancer cells can render them resistant to potent multidrug therapy. After complete remission with cancer treatment, recurrence is most common in the first 2 years. Opportunities for relapse fall significantly after 5 years of remission. Recurrence is very rare after 10 years of remission. However, this is rather an unstable idea and there are still some cancer that may recur after 10 years of remission.

In this scenario, Ayurveda treatment plays a special role in comprehensive cancer management. It is now safer and more ethical to use Ayurveda treatment as a supplemental (additive) treatment rather than an alternative (standalone) treatment. Current lacrimal glands in cancer treatment can be completely filled with Ayurvedic medicine. Ayurveda treatment can greatly improve the immune system and help the body in the fight against cancer cells. A combination of herbal medicine and herb - mineral can reduce cancer cell mutations and destroy abnormal cells. At the same time, Ayurveda treatment also helps alleviate known side effects of modern treatment, improve treatment response, extend remission, and prevent recurrence.

Ayurvedic medicine acts on specific organs and body systems. Thus, Ayurveda treatment can provide highly targeted cancer treatment and protect organs from irreversible damage. This therapy can be used to turn the tide in case of drug tolerance or failure of modern treatment, or when side effects of modern medications require recovery of these drugs. Ayurveda treatment is also very useful for controlling multiple diseases or diseases of end-stage cancer patients, improving quality of life and improving survival rate.

It is important to note that if it is initiated at the earliest time, the greatest benefit from Ayurveda treatment will be obtained and the first detection and diagnosis of cancer will be obtained. Most people tend to look for Ayurveda treatment after the patient is already in the terminal phase and has exhausted all modern treatment options without Ayurvedic medication time. It is equally important to avoid self-medication or collapse. The same healthcare system does not work for all types of cancer. Different patients with similar severity of cancer of the same type may respond differently to the same drug. Indeed, even individual cancer patients receiving treatment can not administer the same medicine indefinitely. Periodic oversight and periodic assessment are necessary to alter treatment based on cancer progression, response to treatment, and presence or occurrence of comorbidities and therapeutic side effects. Clearly the decision of cancer treatment is not easy.

The clinical experience since the past 30 years consistently provided that Ayurveda treatment for cancer is given safely at the same time as modern treatment. Ayurveda treatment can cause significant differences in final results while stimulating cancer. Therefore, Ayurveda treatment clearly plays a role in cancer management.
